Step-by-step guide to apply for Diploma, Undergraduate, and Post-Graduate Programs

  • Students should apply online for Diploma/UG/PG Programs.
  • To begin the Online Admission Application Process, visit
  • Click on the Admission Tab.
  • Start filling the application form.
  • Once the link for a specific program is open, select the program.
  • Submit your mobile number to receive the OTP for starting the online application form.
  • Fill out the online Application Form completely, including program selection.
  • Note that for engineering programs, candidates must indicate their preference choice/s for specialization or branch.
  • When filling out the data fields, have all your documents ready and complete the payment of the form fee transaction.
  • Ensure the application form is complete with all details filled in.
  • Upload a recent Photograph and Digital Signature (JPG/JPEG/PNG with a white background of 1 MB size for both) with the Application Form.
  • Note: Once the form is submitted, changes/corrections cannot be made unless permission is granted by the University Authorities.
  • Application Form Fee:
    • Diploma & UG Program: Rs. Eight Hundred Only (Rs.800)
    • PG Program: Rs. One Thousand Only (Rs.1000)
  • Choose Debit Card/Credit Card/UPI/Net Banking for payment.
  • Follow the online instructions for completing the payment transaction.
  • If the confirmation page is not generated after payment, contact the bank for a refund. You'll need to make another payment to complete the online application process if the Confirmation Page is not generated.

  • Note that the Admission Application Form Fee is non-refundable.
  • After successfully submitting the form and payment transaction, download the receipt for record-keeping.
  • You'll receive an Acknowledgement mail on your registered mail ID upon successful form submission. Download the form from the mail.
  • The admission selection process/rounds will be conducted by the Admission Office, D Y Patil University, Pune. The university follows the guidelines of the Government of Maharashtra, AICTE, and UGC for the admission process. Candidates must appear in person; failure to do so will result in application rejection. If unable to attend, candidates may appear in subsequent rounds if announced by the university or if seats are available.
  • Candidates must attend the admission round/selection process/counselling at the university campus. Refer to the admission handbook for process rounds of the respective programme.

Upon merit list declaration, selected candidates must:

  • Pay the First Installment of their Academic Fees via Demand Draft/Online Payment mode.
  • Submit original documents with two sets of photocopies.
  • Undergo eligibility assessment and document verification per regulatory authorities' guidelines.
  • A list of required original documents for eligibility verification and scrutiny will be provided during provisional admission. Failure to submit documents or comply with eligibility requirements will result in automatic admission cancellation.
  • Disqualified candidates for a program may consider another program if they meet eligibility criteria.
  • Separate accommodation/hostel and mess facilities are available for girls and boys on the university campus.
  • After confirming admission, apply using the prescribed format for the hostel and canteen.
  • Note that separate hostel and mess fees will be charged (not included in program fees).
  • Hostel allotment is on a first-come-first-served basis.
  • The program fees schedule is in the Admission Handbook for student convenience. The university provides required letters for loan applications at financial institutions/banks.
  • The Academic Commencement date is in the Admission Handbook.

*Important Note:

The application form fee is NON-REFUNDABLE. Submitting the online admission form marks the initial step; however, it DOES NOT assure admission. Seat allocation is contingent upon selection criteria, eligibility, and seat availability. Kindly visit the Admissions Office subsequent to form submission for further processing.
