Overview
The DYPU Ambi campus boasts the second-largest multi-sports stadium of its class. Primarily used for cricket, it's the brainchild of DYPU's dynamic President, Dr. Vijay Patil. To honor his ambitious vision, DYPU organizes the 'Dr. Vijay Patil Sports Meet'. This is an interschool and intercollege mega sports competition under one umbrella. More than 105 matches across 12 categories take place, including cricket, football, basketball, volleyball, athletics, kabaddi, kho-kho, badminton, throwball, dodgeball, and indoor games like carom and table tennis. More than 1500 players from various colleges enthusiastically anticipate and participate in the event.
