Eligibility Criteria

For admission to the first year of the Diploma in Pharmacy (D. Pharm) course, candidates must meet the following requirements:

Maharashtra State Candidature Candidates:

  • Must be an Indian National.
  • Should have passed the 10+2 examination (Science stream) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or Mathematics.
  • Or any other qualification recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to the above.

Note: Candidates from states other than Maharashtra are eligible only for the institution quota.


NRI / OCI / PIO, Children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries, Foreign Nationals:

  • Must have completed the 10+2 examination (Science stream) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or Mathematics.

This diploma course serves as the minimum educational qualification for becoming a registered pharmacist in India.
