Brief :

Asst. Prof. Sanjukta Das has graduated as an architect (2013) and holds a post graduate degree (specialization in Urban Conservation) from Mumbai University (2017). She has worked on housing and private residential projects for about two years with a renowned firm in Bangalore. At present she is dedicatedly involved in academics since two and half years. She has interest in the field of Urban conservation and study of ecology and also undergoing her research work on understanding the Cultural Landscape of Majuli island Assam . Besides this she is also a Visharad degree holder with distinction in Bharat Natyam dance and also a national scholarship holder from Centre for Cultural Resources and Training Govt. of India.

    • M.Arch Thesis entry for COA National Awards for Excellence in Post Graduate Thesis 2017. Presented a paper titled Understanding Heritage from the perspective of Nature-Culture linkages at an International Conference Interpret Europe- Heritage and Identity at Koszeg Hungary organised by Association of Cultural heritage managers Europe in March’2018. Presented a paper titled Cultural heritage of Majuli Island it s significance and contribution towards global tourism at 6th UNITWIN UNESCO Conference held at ku Leuven university Belgium from April 8th to 12th.
