The interactive session resulted in introduction of different sub systems of EV and their working principles. The regenerative breaking and impact on efficiency were outlined. Various market available EVs there specifications were discussed in day session by Mr. Y.H.Gharpure and Mr. Vilas Rabde.

The Motor selection and traction calculations were detailed to the students. The different types of batteries and their management systems were explained to participants by Mr. Hemant Padhye and Mr. Anant Bhedasgaonkar

The current research areas in the vehicles in general and energy storage device in particular were explained to the participants by Mr.Udayan Pathak the participants were encouraged to work or take small projects in the EV domain.
