Testimonial:

DYPUSOA has proved to be more than just a professional stepping-stone for me. It has not only helped me in successfully crafting my architectural career but has also played an instrumental role in my individuation. DYPU's green and serene campus and intellectually stimulating built environments of the 'School of Architecture' perfectly complement each other in creating an oasis of architectural learning. And it goes without saying that its convivial atmosphere was always accentuated by a sense of self-discipline and self-responsibility that I found most empowering. Contrary to popular belief, a 5-year architecture course as taught at DYPUSOA is more daunting than you think. It's the research-oriented and industry-experienced faculty that makes the learning uncomplicated through their pedagogy. Today, I owe my success to DYPUSOA and will stand by it whenever called upon.

Ms. Parnika Waghmare - Admission: 2014-15

DYPUSOA always provided me with a platform to grow and showcase my capabilities. It has resulted in making me a skillful and competitive architectural professional and a team leader. Every student has some unique skill in which he or she can excel; All the curricular and co-curricular activities at DYPUSOA have helped us in exploring and exercising these unique skills and taught us to use them to our advantage. To augment these skills in each student, DYPUSOA has a faculty specialized and experienced in all the subjects taught under the academic curriculum along with many practicing professionals who come as visiting faculty. All the learning is supplemented by a healthy dose of extra-curricular activities and keeps you on your toes throughout the course. To sum up, If life is all about the choices you make, with an advantage of hindsight, I can confidently say that by selecting DYPSOA, I have made the right one.

Ma. Shantanu Roy - Admission: 2014-15

As a fresh graduate, I must admit that DYPUSOA has transformed my personal and professional life to afford me a head-start in a very competitive industry. I'm more confident as an individual and qualitatively differentiated as a novice professional architect. To be specific, the management electives I took in my final year, are proving to be most instrumental in my CV to raise my job profile, as even with the exceptional basic skillset nowadays it's very difficult to differentiate yourself in the job market. Everything that we were taught sometimes pushing us out of our comfort zone has come to fruition. The overall discipline and academic rigor inculcated in us by the DYPUSOA faculty that we dreaded once, has not only made us competitive architects but well-rounded individuals. Curricular and co-curricular activities always complemented each other in providing us with the much needed professional edge to keep us at the frontiers of the profession.

Ma. Advait Kolte - Admission: 2014-15

DYPUSOA played a pivotal role in shaping my personality and professional life. The 5-year journey was full of challenges and overcoming these challenges. DYPUSOA's environment and faculty were extremely instrumental in preparing me to successfully overcome these challenges and hone my capabilities to realize my true potential. All the curricular and co-curricular activities were planned and managed to complement each other and optimize fun and learning. Vertical Studio, Workshops, Professional Practice & Training, was taught and managed very effectively to match our interests and skills to appropriate architectural firms and offices. This along with specialized electives on our resume has opened several opportunities for us, from post-graduation to working abroad, nothing seems impossible!

Ma. Vidhan Goel - Admission: 2014-15

What our fresh students say...

DYPUSOA is a high-spirited abode of architectural education and learning. Its environment is full of creative thinking and action that keeps everyone involved in curricular and co-curricular activities with full enthusiasm. And having served as Unit-Secretary as well as the Zonal-Convener for the National Association of Students of Architecture (NASA), I can confidently vouch for that. It's the collective and dedicated efforts of faculties as well as students that make all such events successful and memorable. Along with co-curricular activities, DYPUSOA regularly organizes various hands-on workshops, seminars, and vertical studios that help us explore architecture theory and practice alike.
