From 2006, at D Y Patil Technical Campus colleges namely D Y Patil College of Engineering, D Y Patil School of Engineering Academy, D Y Patil Institute of Engineering and Technology, School of Pharmacy, Padmabhushan Vasantdada Patil College of Agriculture, D Y Patil Polytechnic, D Y Patil Institute of Management and D Y Patil School of Architecture are successfully running UG and PG programmes are approved by AICTE, MSBTE, PCI and COA wherein more than 7000 students are studying in the various programmes at campus.
Rich legacy and history of excellence spanning more than 13 years resulted into transform as D Y Patil University, Pune and continued to provide cutting-edge programmes.
Diploma institute is engaged in creating budding Engineers, required for current industries. Students here learn basic Engineering principles and technology used in industrial practices. They learn to find the practical solutions to the problems with the help of scientific processes and application of theories. They learn to design, develop, test, modify, install and inspect engineering products and systems.

Dear young friends,
To me an educational institute is just not an institute made up of bricks, mortars, and concrete but a place that builds a character, enlighten minds, and give a lifetime experience. Our life is not a set of instructions but a series of experiences and a continuous learning process. Dr D Y Patil Polytechnic is a place where such things are taught to the aspiring candidates, where learning is not just a set of instructions but a passion, which goes beyond books, beyond instructions and beyond learning horizons.
At Dr D Y Patil Polytechnic we believe that teaching-learning process is not just a formality but a set of experiences that is explored to realise a new world of wisdom.
The total student strength of our college is around 1000 together with Five departments, and a decent library, we all direct our efforts to match the expectations of each and every student, by the way of enabling them to participate in various activities like seminars, workshops, paper presentations etc. in and out of the institution. Our College also provides additional facilities like Gymnasium Hall, Bus Facility for transportation, Generator Back-Up facility, Internet Facility, Stress relieving facility, Seminar Hall, Hostel for boys with a capacity over 200 and for girls with a capacity over 200, a decent in-house mess at reasonable cost that provides hygienic and tasty food with a seating capacity of 200 students at a time, huge playgrounds, separate canteen, and a facility centre.
I would also like to mention proudly that my institution has planned to go for NBA accreditation process. Our College also has Student's Council Forum whose members are all topper students from various branches. College also has well established T&P Section that strives for best placement for desiring students. The institution has taken a great leap in the past eight years and the results are encouraging and amazing.
College has excellent track record for extracurricular activities in order to inculcate the sense of social obligation. Students are encouraged to take part in various activities like Gathering, blood donation camp, Nature Club for their overall development of personality.
